Arimidex may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide. |

| Side effects: | Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction ro Arimidex: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects: sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body; sudden headache, confusion, problems with vision, speech, or balance; swollen glands; a bone fracture; or swelling in your hands or feet; Less serious Arimidex side effects may include: hot flashes; joint pain or stiffness; weakness; sore throat; depression, mood changes; nausea; or back pain, bone pain.
